Basketball Reference now has shooting charts + quarter by quarter stats.
Back up to 2000-2001.
Interesting notes: LeBron shoots ~56-57% in the first 3 quarters, and only 45% in the 4th this year. Back in 2009 and 2010, he shot better in the 4th, but it seems all the talk of him failing is actually getting to him.
In 2006 when Kobe took 27 shots/game, he still made 42% of his midrange jumpers, which is an above average percentage, despite the volume.
Wade shot 40% from midrange last year, despite his shot looking like it was off the whole time.
On 24 shots/game, McGrady shot 44% from midrange in 2003, and 38% from 3.
Durant is shooting 51% on midrange jumpers this year, his best shooting year from there by far (10% higher than last year, and 12 higher than 2010).
As a 40 year old, Jordan shot 42% from midrange.
