Default Bucks should trade for Udonis Haslem.

eh?

What about:

Simmons for Haslem and Posey.

Heat do it because they need to free up some minutes for Simien, and Simmons, while having the all around game that Posey does, he also is a deadly three point shooter which Miami really needs and sort of provides what 3 or 4 Heat roleplayers do in one player. I see him starting next to Wade for quite awhile. Bucks do it because they need the hard nosed hustle guy instead of a three point shooter, Posey fits their needs more. And Haslem gives them a great roleplaying 4 who blocks shots, hits the boards, runs the floor, and hits open shots.

Bucks go from a pusssy soft team to a hardnosed, gritty team while still retaining their ability to shoot the ball from deep, as both Posey and Haslem are suitable setshooters, with Haslem having range out to 20 and Posey out to 3.

And that's not even including your draft pick, and who you trade Magloire and Mo Williams for. Really, you've got an overabundance of talent. You've got a complete team and you still have 3 pretty big trading pieces that don't fit; these can be used to upgrade some spots I guess.

That's not a bad idea. I absolutely want some better defenders on the roster next year.

However, Simmons was supposedly a much better defender in LA before the plantar facilitis bogged him down in Milwaukee. I'm willing to wait him out next season and see if he improves a lot, or if the reports out of LA were exaggerated.

I would absolutely LOVE this deal. But as Bogut07 said, I just don't see it happening.

geewiz, you'd be the perfect gm for the Bucks. I haven't seen you make one bad proposal involving this team.

No way would Miami trade 2 of it's better role players for Bobby Simmons. Udonis Haslem is a really nice PF and was huge in game 6 when they won the title. No way would they do this trade. If they did the trade they would be left without a PF, deal makes no sense for Miami.

BCB they have Wayne Simien as their PF of the future and also Alonzo Mourning aka the best third big in the league. Simmons is a much better player than Posey and this team really needs a stronger starting unit rather than a hodgepodge collection of 8 pretty good players that don't really fit around Wade.

What if Milwaukee included Mo Williams in the deal? That way the Heat never have to play Jason Williams again. Mo can handle the ball, is a decent enough passer so much as to get the ball to Wade or Shaq/Walker, and can hit open shots, and most of all, isn't a retard.

So that would leave the Heat with Mo/Wade/Simmons/Simien/Shaq with Antoine, Payton, Alonzo, Jason, and others off the bench... and the Bucks don't need Mo anyway.
