Default Bynum undergo knee procedure

Dave McMenamin ESPNLosAngeles.com

Report that Bynum is Healthy but will visit his knee specialist Dr. David Altchek on Friday to receive a synvisc injection into his righ knee. It all natural sustance that serves as a lubricant when injected into the knee.

What do we make of this.........I personaly think it ok but, i'm not a doctor....

Ahhhh, I truly hope and pray that EVERYTHING if FINE with Bynum.
I was worried witht he fact that he seems to get injured afer 40 games or so in each of the past 3 yrs. We can argue all day long that the first 2 injuries were freak ones but my contention was, it seems like he also takes forever to recuperate/heal.
I also started a thread entitled "is Bynum fading" some of you said, he is doing what he is supposed to do, rebounding and blocking which is valid, but it's just obvious that he is not as aggressive as a month ago, in getting in deep position and actually make his move instead of just waiting for Pau, Kobe etc to create his scoring opportunities.
Then the whining a few days back about extended shootaround and practices instead of resting his knees...

Bynum's point about needing to rest his knees is valid and I stated weeks ago that Brown's desire to have lengthy practices was going to be a problem in this shortened season. I get Brown's side on this issue too.....but for safety sake certain guys who play the most need to practice less....Kobe, Pau and Bynum.

I tell you guys, he needs to take Judo class or any other martial arts where you spar with kicking each other knee or shin so his knee can't get banged up easily...if Kareem could he should too.

I agree, its a shame. Plus add LaMarcus as a third option and that team wins the title at least once together. Brandon Roy retiring made me really sad. He was truly a special talent. Can you believe he's also autistic?

Yeah, I was hoping we could rake in a few titles before that team took over.
Yeah, I'm really sad Roy retired, I had no idea he was autistic until a couple months ago....makes it all the more amazing.

How about Kobe reach out to Roy, brings him to Germany and have his doctors perform that Plasma procedure to his knees. Out of gratitude, he signs with the Lakers next season.

loool Dreams are nice. They keep me motivated.

I remember when the lakers were pursuing the blazers #5 pick a few years ago for the purpose of drafting Roy. All the blazers wanted was Odom. In retrospect, I wishhhhh we had done that deal. Well then again, now that he's gone, maybe Odom was worth having. On second thought, Brandon Roy + Kobe + Bynum + Pau = 4 championships.

That would mean we have 3 mambas: black mamba, yellow mamba, and mini-mamba
