according to all the shit I've read it's because they are planning to deal BOTH Gasol and Bynum in a 3 team trade.

We are looking to get jj barea/Dwight/Beasly.

Not sure how I feel about that one.

I'm sure they'll find a Forward/Center to replace Troy. And I still doubt they would start anyone over Fish.

With this 3 teams trade and the signing of Rasheed lakers are looking for another big to help out when Howard gets in foul trouble. Personally I think McRob will be headed to cleveland for session (PG).

We just have to trust MITCh...I'm not sure whats happen....

Any team with Kobe and Dwight Howard on it would be a contending team. Don't forget he is still a superstar, and he's young. Beasley would be a tremendous third option on this team. We would have our scoring trio, and some decent defensive minded players.

I still don't know why sheed retired in the first place. Im not a fan of guys who come out of retirement past age 36. They never do anything.

That's my concern. I hope he's effective.

If that 3 team deal really does happen, what makes you guys think we dont take off a bad contract from Orlando? Remember if we are already trading Gasol and Bynum, that would be enough to take on the contracts of Dwight, Barea, and Beasley. Getting back Hedo for the TE = WINNING

Let's be honest. A 35 year old Wallace single handedly shut down Dwight Howard. He's 37 years old now and hasn't played for two seasons. I doubt the Lakers would have signed him if he wasn't at least in shape.

Let's not forget Sheed playing really well in his last game ever against us in that game 7 finals. But that was a long time ago and unfortunately I don't see sheed as the type of guy to have enough discipline to stay in shape on his own. Hope he proves me wrong.

we don't have a backup center. Sheed will fill that role better than McRoberts.
