Replace current '12 Kobe with '97 MJ (33-34 years old), all rosters/coaches stay the same, how does LA fair? What's their record heading into allstar break? Is Pau an allstar? Fisher/Artest suddenly become serviceable? Discuss.
Jordan being there won't magically help Fisher and Metta make the wide open shots they're getting this season.
And Jordan won't coexist with softy like gasol he might have gotten his boys to run a train on pau when he was whining about his woma during the playoffs

Is you trying to say Kobe makes Fisher and MWP worse
About 8 of the 10 posts have been from Kobe fanboi's...who don't think the Lakers get better. Shocking! Forget about Jordan's superior playmaking, scoring, defense and leadership; LA CANT get better because of Kobe. Makes sense.
A slight improvement over LA's current record, nothing significant. In MJ they're getting someone who's more consistent and a better closer, so they would perform better in close games. All of LA's problems - lack of perimeter playmaking beyond Kobe, lack of perimeter shooting, Brown's offensive ineptness - would still persist.
The improvement wouldn't be that much because outside of the big 3 they are go awful. Jordan would probably assault Goudelock or something after watching some of the bullsh*t in practice. Then again MJ might die if he tell Artest like it is. He might just stab him right here and there.
