I know we always have trouble with them, that's another reason why this should be a statement game.
We got embarrassed multiple times and it's time for revenge.
It's their second night of back-to-back and they're playing without Anderson Varejao, one of their key players.
I know there's no easy games in the NBA but compared with what we got until the end season games against Cleveland,Milwaukee and similar teams are considered easy.
Unless you think road games against the Mavs,Spurs and Bulls are the easy part of the schedule.
I'm not saying we're going to win.
I'M SAYING WE SHOULD WIN THIS ONE AND THAT THERE'S REALLY NO EXCUSE IF WE LOSE.
I think in the Cleveland locker room they probably saying the same thing. Talent doesnt play basketball though.
No one should be so presumptious to start claiming victories. We dont even know what this team is going to look like but we all hope its better since they will have time to practice.
The Knicks have lost to bad teams we just lost to the Hornets and the Nets.
I dont want anyone to discount the difficulty of any game. Especially Cleveland who seems to always put it on us and not realize this team hasnt won lately but they havent been a slouch. I will say the samething about Boston who lost like 4 or 5 in a row. They always seem to get in the Knicks a$$.
I cant predict what will happen but the Knicks need to at least win the Eastern Conference games.
The Cavs have a team that doesn't lack effort, but are young, thus their record.
They are one that actually does concern me.
I'm not saying I'm not concerned.
Every opponent concerns me because we tend to play horrible against the bad teams.
I'm just saying if we're planning to have some success it's time to start winning the games against the Cavs,Bucks and similar opponents.
If we're planning to be a sub .500 team then losses against weak teams are perfectly understandable.
My point is,we ran out of excuses.
Weak bench ? We have a pretty good bench right now.
No pg ? Lin
We're not healthy ? Everyone is pretty much healthy right now with exception of Bill Walker.Baron Davis is back,Josh Harrellson is back,Iman Shumpert will be back soon.
No more excuses for this team.
I'm not asking for a top2 seed or something like that.
I'm just asking them to win games they should win and play well against elite teams. We have roster that's capable of doing that.
Will they ? That's a different thing.
Talent doesn't always win but it should get you over .500 for sure.
You said Cavs were better than their record suggests. Fine.
Knicks should be better than they record suggests, let's just wait and see how will things pan out.

Yeah I have that funny feeling of de ja vu. The expensive paper talent is there but can it come together.
What did Marbury,Z-Bo and Curry do before they came to the Knicks ?
Both Marbury and Z-Bo were low percentage chuckers (Melo is a king of efficiency for them) and Curry averaged 12 points and 5 rebounds in four seasons before he came to the Knicks.
Melo alone had more playoff appearances than all of them combined.
Amare was in the Conference Finals twice,Melo once.
Clutch, I think its say to say you haven't actually watched Marbury or Zach play.
The comparison is eerily similar.
I haven't watched them play,I was young and watching Knicks games back then was mission impossible in my country.
Even today there are maybe 3 Knicks games a year on TV,I watch all the games on the Internet.
But I read a lot about them and there's a lot of statistical data available on the Internet.
I just stated the fact that both Melo and Amare had much more success than those three players before they came to the Knicks.
Career achievements before coming to the Knicks:
Marbury - 1st round (3 appearances)
Z-Bo - 1st round (2 appearances)
Curry - no playoff appearances
I might be dead wrong,so I won't argue.
I'll leave the facts there.
You might be right but as much bad things I heard about Melo and Amare that's nothing compared with how much bad things I heard about those three above

Damn I couldnt spell "eerily" So I went the de ja vu route

Hey dont worry it was also the vibe of the team. On paper that team looked formidable young talented. Defense was the issue but if all things went right it was could be dangerous. I mean Starbury 20-8, ZBo 20-10, Eaddy Curry 20-8... Wasnt Crawford there too at the time?
Its ok if you cant see the comparison but its more than just literal.
SARCASTIC: I can agree with that.
Melo cant fit in the pick n roll, Amare cant do the pick n roll, Chandler cant stop getting techs. All anyone cares about is a skinny Tawianese kid who converted from SG to PG that cant go left.
