Just shows how bad the centre position is, that Howard averages 20/15 whilst mailing in the season and people think Joakim Noah is the 2nd best C in the league.
Some haters up in here I see. No its not based on these last 2 games...its just these last 2 were his BEST. Noah has been on a nice fire for the past 15 games now...that's why many see him as a top 5 C, where he rightfully belongs. He's practically been a double double machine since what...the end of January/beginning of February

Well, if its not a reaction to his last games thread, why do you rank him over Marc Gasol who has same amount of rebounds per game, more points, more assists, more blocks, more steals and very similar shooting % ??? They are both very valuable for their teams, but having watch games of them both, I think Marc is more important for grizzlies than Noah is for bulls.

I don't though. Statesofmind and I just forgot about Marc. My list is the same as his.
1. Dwight Howard
2. Andrew Bynum
3. Marc Gasol
4. Joakim Noah
5. Roy Hibbert
17 points 9 defensive rebounds
2 offensive rebounds
5 assists
1 steal
0 blocks
on 8 for 17 shooting.
Noah:
15 points 10 defensive rebounds 6 offensive rebounds
5 assists 2 steals 2 blocks
on 7 for 12 shooting
I'll take Noah stats every time.
Also for the debate going on who the best centers are I'd say it's something like this;
Dwight
--
Bynum
Hibbert
Marc Gasol
---
Noah
Lopez
Bogut (he could move up to the second tier if he can stay healthy)
Chandler
Jefferson
--
Nene
Gortat (I think you guys are overrating him because he plays with Nash now.)
Monroe
Pekovic (If he can keep up his recent good play he can easily go up in these ratings.)
Cousins (You don't want him over the centers in the higher tiers at this point. He's just too inconsistent and does not have a good influence on your team unlike say Noah or Chandler, who are clearly less talented.)
----
Camby
O'Neal
Biedrins
Anthony
DeAndre Jordan (Cool athleticism but he's not a good/great defender nor can he do anything other than catch lobs offensively.)
Gortat (I think you guys are overrating him because he plays with Nash now.)
Nope. He's legit. Don't see how Nash is going to make him grab 10.4 RPG and rising, and even when Nash isn't on the court he still plays good and manages to score. His stats have been going up ever since the beginning of the season. And the Suns aren't fast paced at all like they used to be, so you can't say his stats are inflated by the team's "system"
