Putrid results for MLS teams although it's great for the Red Bulls. We played a good lineup(minus Henry and internationals) and got a 3-0 win. This will all make the competition easier for us down the road hopefully.
TFC beat Philly!! Philly is a mess. They signed a bunch of central americans who haven't done squat this year while getting rid of one of the best players in the game(Le Toux) and a solid defender(Califf)..

Other than those two, Alexandro Nesta, Didier Drogba, Michael Ballack and Raul are rumored to be interested in playing in MLS also. Again, veteran playmakers or playmaking forwards will do well in this league. Drogba or Ballack would be great here.
If he really want to move here, somebody has to pay big for him since I see that he still has some fire left in him. Teams that don't have big stars but can potentially draw well when there are around like Sporting KC or Union should sign him, especially the latter that gave away their best player in Le Toux for nothing.

I don't see any team matching the potential salary Drogba can make in China. I heard he's rumored to get around 250pounds/week in China, no MLS team(besides the Red Bulls) have that money..
I'm a bit skeptical about Ballack. He's old and I have a feeling he can be another Marquez in this league although I think Ballack has a better character.

TFC could spend more if there didn't signed Frings, Koevermans and resigned other quality support players at premium prices already. De Guzman's money has also hindered the team quite a bit.
Both Edson Buddle & Dan Keat are out for up to 6 weeks. Thankfully, though he sucks, Leonardo's knee is fine since the Galaxy's depth is weak with OGos injury and Saunders suspension, though Saunders did play in the reserve game.
