But the thing for TFC is that, with recent roster moves with Joao Plata and Nick Soolsma, they are aiming to sign another player. It is said from the reports that it may be Canadian national team defender Kevin McKenna, or even bigger name like Alexandro Del Piero?

Injury-ridden Hoops will sure get a quality midfielder in return that does a lot of things other than scoring though.
More details came out this morning as it is official, Julian De Guzman for a rarely-used forward Andrew Wiedeman. While there is no confirmation yet, there is a rumour that TFC will still have to pay JDG's salary for the rest of the season. TFC just needs more cap spaces and a DP spot.

Watching Timbers vs Galaxy, and has been a slug-fest so far, 6 goals in total. Galaxy leads 4-2.

The Quakes have been scorching of late. They torched Real Salt Lake for 5, conceding none. If they stay in this form... maybe they step out of the shadow of their old iteration.

Beckham should have not gone back in to this game. There was no contact with another player to the head, a sudden stop and he's dazed? That screams concussion like.

Wondo is the best player in the league right now. Scoring more than a goal a match? Hell yes!

It looks to be a very mild concussion. Becks didn't land that awkwardly. He scored two great goals tonight. There are a lot more matches coming up this month for him including the All-Star game so taking him out as a precaution is good.

Whitecaps traded away Sebastian Le Toux to Red Bulls for Dane Richards on Friday, then signed Scotland NT captain Kenny Miller for a DP contract today. Miller will make a debut this Wednesday against LA Galaxy.

With Miller, Eric Hassli seems to be expendable with the red-hot Darren Mattocks and Miller may be a regular pair of forwards from now on.

Le Toux did also make an immediate impact for NYRB where he scored a goal in a 2-2 game against Sounders.

FCD vs San Jose is about to start on NBC Sports.

Maybe Dallas can string together a winning streak...

I want to see him do something for USMNT I remember his horrible first touch on an open goal

Galaxy's 18-years-old home-grown player Jose Villareal just scored a beautiful tying goal, his first goal in MLS in his technically first match (the real first one was only few minutes in the extra time). Galaxy 2-2 Whitecaps

Had tickets to the Red Bulls game today, great seats(section 126 aka middle and close to pitch) and boy was it ****ing hot out. Temperature was around 100 degrees and I felt like I was boiling can't imagine how the players felt like. Game was pretty damn good and Thierry Henry had a perfect strike.

Hoops

Zach Loyd gave them an opportunity to salvage something by flopping in a box and getting a PK, then Jair Benitez launched it over the bar.
