Default your 5 guys to close out the game

i think in the last 4 minutes of the game, id like to see

until lin can prove to lower is TO ratio, id take davis over lin atm (atleast save davis some minutes to play the 4th) davis is slightly better on D

shumpert is a no brainer, bringing him off the bench is the best case scenario for him instead of starting, because he proves to not lose any edge when coming in and has more legs to lock down the opposing player.

we need melo for offensive purposes and when motivated, can play above average D

amare has shown time and time again, that he will let the guy score 70% of the time rather than challenging. with a good pg running the show now, jeffries can now get decent looks on offense instead of chucking shots like before. and his defense has been great playing along side with chandler
he takes charges like no one else and puts it on the line each time

chandler is our best defender and will challenge, hustle at everything coming his way and sets great screens to free up the pg and rolls way better than amare has done this season and finish at the rim 90% of the time either on a dunk or getting fouled.

there needs to be at least one shooter on the floor

It really depends on whether we are protecting a lead, trying to fight back, getting raped off the dribble, getting outrebounded, etc.

But Lin/Melo/Chandler are on the floor unquestionably

My preference is probably

JR (when he starts stroking his jumpshot)

Depends on the situation. If it's a last-second defensive possession I could see something like Shumpert, Smith, Fields, Jeffries, Chandler.

I've said this before but I'd want my starting 5 on the court and depending on the situation, I'd either want Shumpert or Fields @ the 2. If we need a stop, Shumpert. If we need to hold onto a lead, Fields.

Shumpert/JR Smith (depending on if we are winning or losing)

That's how our starting lineup should be actually.
