I think Arizona is the best place for Peyton and that he should go there.

Just draft OL and bring in a FA or 2 along with Reggie and their offense is good to go. Better than good...

Aside from Levi Brown ... and he does play LT (allegedly)... their Oline is ok. But they'll have to make a move there to protect Manning.

They'll cut Joey Porter, Stewart Bradley and let Brown walk. Cut Kolb and save his bonus and a little cap space. Sign a #2 WR.

Their interior is average. Nothing to write home about.

....and when they let Levi Brown walk, they'll have two glaring weaknesses, they will have no proven, quality tackles (either right or left) on the roster.

Even if they keep Levi Brown, he's about as inconsistent as anyone. He has had way more bad games than good ones throughout his career and generally gets beat whenever he's matched up with a good/quality pass rusher.

I don't think Peyton wants to face SF twice a season. Niners literally pound on every QB they play and I just don't want to see Peyton getting dragged by Justin Smith..

Go to Miami Peyton. You have a good O-line, good defense, and some decent offensive weapons. Plus they have a good draft position and they'll sign some of Peyton's buddies(Wayne, Clark, etc) It's a perfect situation

Report: Broncos and Cardinals are the two front runners (via rotoworld):

Quote:
Sources familiar with the situation tell ESPN's Adam Schefter the Broncos and Cardinals are considered free agent Peyton Manning's "two likeliest landing spots."
According to Schefter, "indications" are that the Dolphins aren't as high on Manning's list as the Cardinals and Broncos. A source who spoke with Manning prior to his trip to Arizona says his "gut" is that Manning is "leaning toward Denver." Schefter also reports the Seahawks have been working to arrange a meeting with Manning, but have been unsuccessful. The Cardinals and Broncos' status as Manning's first two visits make it unsurprising that they're currently in the lead for his services, but it would be a major upset if Manning signs a new deal without first getting the checkbook of Dolphins owner Stephen Ross involved.

Also:

Quote:
A source with "knowledge of the dynamics in Denver" tells Profootballtalk.com Tim Tebow will likely be traded if the Broncos sign free agent Peyton Manning.
The Jaguars would reportedly be "in the mix" to acquire Tebow were he made available. Profootballtalk.com also reports Tebow is expected to remain the starter if the Broncos are unable land Manning, as they have already "done their due diligence" on the upcoming free-agent class, and are having a "hard time finding anyone who would be interested in becoming the focal point of the fury of the Tebowmaniacs." Manning appears to be the only way out of a situation neither Broncos coach John Fox nor VP of Football Operations John Elway want anything to do with.

He's coming to AZ. Perfect weather this weekend, Warner is at the team facilities, we have Fitz and have a need at WR2 so Wayne will fit too. He can't turn us down.

I can see Zona moreso than Denver if they indeed are the two frontrunners. I dont see Denver going after Manning then trading Tebow. Seems like too much movement. Zona can sign Manning, release Kolb. Normal football moves.

Jags tho with Tebow/MJD? Running attack like whoa mang

If Manning somehow went to the Texans they would be my 2nd favorite team. Don't think it would happen but that team is on the cusp of being a superbowl contender. Great defense, good offensive weapons and weak division.

If Manning lands in Arizona and brings Wayne, and he is at least 80% of what he was, that team wins the NFC West next season.

Everything fits perfect for Manning, they can draft an OL with their 1st like Martin or Reiff Kontz, and add some adequate defensive players in FA.

Just too much talent and a HC who is in a win now mode. And a fanbase that can make for a tremendous home field advantage much like the RCA dome was.
