I think our biggest weakness is lack of ball handlers
that can penetrate into the paint and get their defence
reacting... That creates open shots for everyone....

I like the Aaron Brooks idea but he is a RFA and I am
unsure how we do that deal???
Now as I look at how the lakers have been playing with certain players, I am starting to think that all we need to do to improve is just bench Fisher.
Steve Blake and Goudelock have been playing well enough to not be considered useless. Goudelock especially has really been a pleasant surprise.
If we start Blake and have him and goudelock share minutes, I think this team would be significantly better.
I feel the same way, however.
To become elite, we really do need a change at the lead guard spot.
Sessions, lowry, or even Devin harris would be nice.
Guys, I'm just DYING for someone to make us look better. A lead guard will LEAD this team, making EVERYONE a lot better, and consistent. Bigs and maybe even MWP.

Yea these guys may be available but what do the Lakers have to offer? Sessions is playing well. What do the Lakers have that is enticing? It takes 2 to tango. You cant expect the Lakers to just be able to get a guy bc he is available.
Clippers are not dealing Mo. He has played excellent and certainly Lakers have no one of value to the Clippers.
I wouldn't touch Davis at all. A guy who hasnt played at all this season? I wouldn't trade anything for him. I also pass on Harris who nearly makes 9 mil a year and is getting out played by Earl Watson.

This was my problem when we dealt LO.
We didn't get anything for him.

That's basically it. Im not saying these guys are just wanted by all ball clubs,
But they're all relatively young guys who can hoop and don't get overpaid.
We'd have to look for a team who
1. Has someone we want
2. Is trying to get rid of said player
3. Wants cap relief, young player, draft picks
4. Thinks our young guys are good and interested

He doesn't want to give up drew or pau unless he's getting a legit star in return which is smart, but at the same time, you need to give some, so you can take some.
From what I am hearing about the CBA rules is that when you involve a T.E., you cannot involve anything else in that package. A T.E. apparently is to be dealt by itself.
