I was back East in November and it was ridiculously nice.

Yup, seems no one had a real winter.

I love snow, this year has been a personal bummer on that, but hey, not surprised by the weather anymore.

You live in Hempstead? It'd be interesting knowing a fellow ISH poster was just a few towns over.

Yep, but I have to keep my Brooklyn brownstone for residency requirements with the city.

I've lived in Hempstead since '97.

Oh wow I'm not too far away in Malverne, right next to Valley Stream. You're a cop right? You should come be a Malverne cop...nothing ever happens here.

I haven't made an arrest since 2000, I do detective work, mostly online and corporate assignments.

I'm familiar with Malverne though, my mom lives on Norwood Avenue.

What worries me about this is establishing a precedent that Melo gets his way. If you're a coach looking at the Knicks thinking, that wouldn't be very enticing. I hope we bring someone in who has a big enough reputation to command Melo's respect.

Woodson trolled the shit out of D'antoni.

Knicks are hardly switching on defense.

Jordan and Magic got their coaches fired.

As long as Melo does what it takes to win, all be forgiven.

But, I agree, the stakes are raised now, no excuses.

That;s assuming that what Melo said is untrue. Not saying it isn't, but it isn't 100% impossible that he wasn't trying to get D'Antoni fired. Remember, the ppl who reported this also said he asked to be traded...which him AND his agent categorically denied. NY Post... racist newspaper.

I almost got married at Ariana Waterfall. Wound up getting married @ the Chateau though. Ariana is starting to look old. Plus like 3 of my aunts got married there.
