All of their perimeter guys are fine from the line; Griffin and Deandre are so bad that it brings the team's average down

I am just happy for John Wall that they got rid of those bums.

Watch basketball sometime. Watch interviews. Young is a bonehead on the court sometimes.. but off the court is known to be a nice guy and likable teammate. Jr has had MULTIPLE clashes with coaches and teammates. Hell he's already having drama in NY. Stop being stubborn just for the hell of it.

Yeah, its like they only had one DVD of teams and recruit from that DVD.

But its proof that DAntoni couldn't coach.

Young can't pass nor rebound, but is a solid man2man defender and a good shooter, that is all the Clippers currently need from the 2-guard position. Best part is, this strengthens the bench even more by moving Foye back there.

Mo Will - Foye - Simmons - Evans - Martin is a solid 2nd unit, throw in Bledsoe as well into the mix

Nick Young and Paul George are buddies for what it's worth. I'd be pretty surprised if George was the kind of guy that hung out with guys that were turds.

They signed him to that deal and traded him for a prospect, a role player and a 2nd rounder. Better than just letting him walk in free agency no? I think that worked out for them better than it should have.

It does show lack of foresight, but that is no reason to not try and fix your mistake. I prefer a GM who sees his mistake and acts on it with prejudice over those GMs who keep clinging to all their failures -like the dude who runs Detroit.

Butler for Paul George then

But another reason I love this move is if Butler continues playing like ass, VDN can go with CP3-Mo-Young and bench Butler for longer stretches

So you sign Nene this offseason. Then not even a season goes by TRADE him for Javale McGee

See this is why I laugh at fans who say stuff like "you're a loser on the net, they are GMs and know what they are doing.". End of the day we're all humans who make mistakes, bad decisions regardless of your so called expertise.

Where is the logic in bringing back the leagues low IQ having retard? Dont tell me to get rid of his contract. Because McGee is seeking a fat deal as well. So you let him walk or pony up the cash? Geeze.

I didnt read thread, maybe someone made sense out of this deal from Denvers end.

Excellent point. They are having a solid well rounded team. All they need is someone to take over that superstar role and finish the games. Gallo, Afflalo, Lawson are doing a decent job in closing out games. But someone has to do it consistently and their FO has done a good job in maintaining the cap space instead of stacking big contracts.

The only logical things are that this makes Denver a much younger team.
Maybe Nene is hurt or really on the decline. Maybe a change of scenery and Karl's coaching with turn McGee around.

Also remember George Karl loves coaching guys with problems. He needs it. He had Robinson, Mason, Cassell, Allen up in Milwaukee; Payton, Askew, Kemp in Seattle; and previously in Denver he had Smith and Martin.

and then you turn around and take all that flexibility and use it within a few hours to lock up Wilson Chandler to another big money long term deal.
