Re: 2012 Trade Deadline Deal: 3 way deal between Clips, Wizards, and Nuggets
Young rejected trade to Nuggets and Knicks.. So Washington had to involve a team Young wanted and Clippers were at top of his list. He wanted to be here... Which is awesome.

The western conference landscape would look drastically different if Denver hadn't trolled Nene into signing that contract. The Rockets, Lakers, and Nuggets all would be changed.
Blame David Stern. Things could have been a lot different if he wasn't such a tool.

Denver was a perimeter oriented team to start, just got moreso. They score a ton in the paint, but it's almost all drive and dish, cutting, and fastbreaks.
No pure post player anymore. Oh well. Maybe Faried will develop a post game

How was Young rejecting trades?
And why so much talk about Young, Nene is by far the best player in this deal. If the Wizards are able to draft an impact rookie they might not be a total joke next season.

Jordan Crawford is supposed to be talented, right? He wants to be the better Jordan, right? That may be laughable, but ambition is good if he's not an idiot. Him, Wall, Nene...next year amnesty Blatche...plus they have Singleton and Veselư. They have players who run the floor. That's huge. They might have an identity.
Can anyone imagine if they can get Anthony Davis? Davis and Nene moving between PF and C? Even if they get Drummond.
Big deal.

McGee will get overpaid is the point, I'll let you sit there and play Clipperfan86 and argue how Deandre Jordan really isnt overpaid, its a good deal. That is when the time comes for McGee to get his payday which he will be it Denver or not.

Because the Clippers just filled a need and they're a highly fawned over club at the moment. Nene will go to the Wizards, see no nationally televised playing time and unfortunately fade into relative obscurity, with the likes of John Wall and Rashard Lewis. This was a good move to alter the culture in Washington, however it's likely at the expense of their new stars happiness.
Maybe it'll be a Webber to Sacramento thing, where he's disgusted with the thought of playing there but warms up to it and, eventually, manages to turn it into a successful situation. Stranger things have happened.

What vet got Zach Randolph on the right course again? I missed that episode.
I didnt realize CP3 was turning miracles. Why do you want a better SF after you were on this tough juice crap all season? Wait I cant hear you, whats that? Speak up!
Why cant CP3 change the Clippers laughable defense? Guess he's busy helping other troubled folks. Disregard.
Nick Young brings instant offense, but stop acting like his old habits/tricks will be erased because of CP3. Cut it out.

I like Crawford more than Young. He takes a lot of dumb shots but has much better court vision than Young, is a good playmaker. Not the shooter than Young is but when he gets hot he can light it up.
Re: 2012 Trade Deadline Deal: 3 way deal between Clips, Wizards, and Nuggets
Why do people think Nick is so good? Dude was a free agent last summer, nobody wanted him. Clippers were desperate so they made a move, I wasn't expecting much back for him
Re: 2012 Trade Deadline Deal: 3 way deal between Clips, Wizards, and Nuggets
is it just me or is nene extremely overrated and overpaid? the guy puts up 13-14ppg, 7.5 rpg, 1 bpg and doesnt sound like he plays defense. 13mill? no thanks. based on numbers alone, mcgee is playing better than him anyway
