It can be sketch comedy in the form of what else, a sketch comedy? Also, it can be sketch performers from a variety series (Flip Wilson Show; Carol Burnett Show, ect) or specials that aired (Robert Townsend's Partners in Crime, Rodney Dangerfield specials, ect.)
