i like the distribution of points...but melo has yet to prove to be a big factor in close games...he might have hit a shot to tie it but the other team usually closes us out at the end
his midrange game has been subpar from what we seen from previous seasons
did he win any games for us in regulation except for the first game vs the celtics?
this season, he has looked awfully average...far from the superstar model everyone thought he was in denver

Besides that Boston game he hit a game winner against the Wizards, scored a few key baskets in a win against the Bobcats. Then we have a game tying shot against the Nuggets,a few go-ahead baskets in a loss against Boston...
Melo has always been clutch.
Still,he's playing worse than he should.
Hopefully he'll step up when it matters the most.
in middle of games, hes missing many shots he is used to making before.
just hope he can regain his form
few go ahead baskets vs boston also had a few misses that kept boston in it
Guess u didnt catch the Wizards or Nuggets game. He played poorly the whole game n then lit them up at the end. Even Melos critics know he is clutch. You must be thinkin of LeBitch

i know he can be clutch, but its down by alot this season, all im saying
he needs to get it together
i remember when we got him last season, he was clutch as hell
I guess you take the horrid definition of clutch as a play with "5 minutes to go".
A clutch play for me is a potential game winning or tying shot with 24 seconds or less on the clock.
Before that, it's not really crunch time. Imho.
If you go by that definition then we have:
1) game winning free throws against the Celtics
2) game winner vs Wizards
3) game winning free throws against the Bobcats
4) game tying shot vs Nuggets
5) go ahead bucket vs Celtics in Boston

I think I got them all.
Fine, my post wasn't about Melo actually, it was a general remark on the definition of clutch.
