Did they have to waive the guy? What's the point so late in the season? I'm concerned for my fantasy team

If this is true it's legitimately retarded. Indy offered to take his entire salary. Now the NBA has to pay him however many million he has left.

Definitely a tanking move. Why the F would they do that? He's a big reason they have been competing and winning some games lately. He said the Clippers handled his trade without class... but what about Hornets? They send him home for 2 weeks out of blue... then say nevermind we need you.. then take him in and out of starting lineup.. then waive him when he's playing well?

Thats the reason there doing it. Why lower your chances of getting a lottery pick when your assured of not making the playoffs.

TRUTH. Definitely accurate and fair to say. I doubt Dell Demps has any control in this (as proven by trade situations with CP3).

I doubt it's true, a majority of NBA owners would have to approve that, right?

If Miami gets him, we're all screwed.

Heat. they need a half court Center post scorer/presence. his big body helps too since they got a bunch of PF types.
