Guess that means Fisher won't be on the Spurs like some suggested.

All I know about him is that he's Jameer Nelson's doppelganger.

Adrian Wojnarowski ‏ @WojYahooNBA

Mills, the Aussie point guard, played the season in China and has been cleared to return to NBA. Deal should be completed in next 24 hours.

Sam Amick ‏ @sam_amick

Source confirms @WojYahooNBA report that Patty Mills will join San Antonio. Two- year deal. Mills was playing in China.

Sam Amick ‏ @sam_amick

Mills gets a player option in the second year, worth approximately $1 million. Houston was interested too. Portland renounced rights.

Source tells http://CSNNW.com #Blazers renounced Patty Mills this morning & the Detroit Pistons went in hard offering a 2-year deal.

Gregg Popovich convinced Patty Mills to join Spurs & assistant coach Brett Brown is Mills' national coach.

Pretty much, quick small guard who can catch fire from three point range, lacks size to play bigger guards. Not as good offensively as Jameer but he can spot up and hit the three and push the ball on the break for the second unit.

Not a bad signing. We desperately needed a backup PG, and Mills is an improvement from Corey Joseph. This roster is slowly coming together.

Well, I meant their faces resemble each other. It's a bonus to know that he somewhat plays like him too lol.

Good passing and perimeter shooting. Not bad for a backup pg.

not a bad signing, but the depth of 2's and 3's the spurs have, I was hoping the spurs would get a big body on the bench in case something happens to bonner or splitter. they are real thin in those positions with just duncan, blair, bonner, and splitter.

Good signing.

He can hold the backup job for the next 1 1/2 seasons as Cory Joseph develops.

I don't know why Portland doesn't keep him. Mills is very solid. His speed makes him special. He can shoot the three too.

I don't even count Bonner as a big , don't get me wrong he does shoot the ball well but I don't trust Bonner or Blair defending big front courts.

Solid back up guard with a good 3pt shot. He played in australia aswell during the lock out and was beasting once he got in the flow

i agree. we can say 3 1/2 bigs, since Bonner is a 1/2 big guy the way he plays.
