Default Music to my ears

"Before the game, Woodson said he wanted to see his guys man up more defending the pick-and-roll, and not switch as much. That extra ball pressure overwhelmed point guard Jose Calderon and his screener during the game. Woodson also looked to wear down the Raptors by instituting more full-court traps. Since taking over for D'Antoni, he's been able to push his players defensively because of the team's depth."

Yeah, but at least that mustached man left with enough time for Woodson to put the Knicks in a spot to still have a chance at winning the division.

We're only 3 games back and play the 76ers tonight. A win would be huge.

No doubt there is enough time to get some good things going, but it's tougher than it should be.

I think the team is up for the challenge, I will be watching this game closely.

Biggest game of the season so far.

Got the win...

STAT absolutely beasted tonight. Lin started off bad but came through with 16 in the 4th. Melo seemed like the 3rd wheel tonight but I did see him grab a good amount of rebounds. Smith had an off night shooting but him and Shumpert played some good defense.

3 behind for that top spot.

They wouldn't give him the ball for the longest time.

Melo had 10/5/2, inefficiently.

We won. Quit crying and get over it lol When his numbers were good you were still hating. He is playing D and passing the ball just like you cried for.

Simply reporting the facts. Your insecurities aren't my problem.

You call me insecure everyday.

When Carmelo is scoring. He's shooting too much. When he's only shooting 15 shots. He's inefficient. You wanted him to pass and play defense. He's doing that. So because I pointed that out, I'm insecure? But nitpicking every game isn't. Scooter, my friend, This Troll's for You!

I think the defense has been better with more effort. Those on the team that have the mindset and talent for defense are carrying the weaker personal generally.

Shump, JR, Jared, Chandler have been PHENOMINAL!

As far as Melo is concerned I rather him be "PART" of the team instead of "The Team".

D'antoni held the whole organization back.

Right now the Knicks are playing hard, they are winning games with their defense and effort. That's what I want to see from my team.

There's one thing I can't tolerate and that's lack of effort.
Some players simply aren't talented and that's fine. Not everyone is born to be a star. But it's inexcusable to not try and give 100% every night.

I couldn't have watched the 90's Knicks (I was just a baby back then) but I always had a defense first mindset.
Actually I downloaded and watched some Knicks games from 90's (Houston's game winner vs Heat in game 5,Larry Johnson's 4-pt play against the Pacers..) but that's only like 10 games.

Team wasn't trying under D'Antoni. Not only that but Woodson makes adjustments and hold players accountable.
It's a beauty to watch this Knicks team when D'Antoni is out of town.
Hopefully he'll take over the Clippers so we can watch fun basketball with no defense (not so fun when you're fan of that team )
