Claiborne doesn't play small. He plays like he's 6'3 with his superior arm length and pure coverage skills.

I'm not gonna say it wouldn't be awesome being a millionaire athlete, but this kinda stuff coming out is what would suck about it.

1. No Clairborne is not 5'10.

http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings...2012&genpos=CB

^^^^similar link you posted for Revis. One in which the height was rounded up but the accurate height measurement was given. Go figure you failed to take another 10 seconds out of your life and read what you link someone to.

2. By 20lbs? Clairborne is 188lbs. Not 158 (like article goofed) nor 185 like you chimed in with. Revis I've seen listed at 198. Revis weight Weight fluctuates, we can sit here and gauge what he is/isnt. I'll definately give Revis 10lbs more than Morris no doubt.

3. Having said all of that, the FACT we're arguing over 10-15lbs and less than 1 inch says what? Petty argument and any sane person would agree that Revis isnt not that much bigger than Morris Claiborne disproving this notion Morris is "pretty small". He's not. He also has a longer arm length than Revis as well.

Thank you and goodnight.

Oh wait...

4. Both scored low on the Wonderlic. Irrelevant info. Guess we can say they are "pretty stupid". Thats a joke by the way.

ESPN is saying the wonderlic is primarily for QB's, to see if they can digest an NFL playbook as well as make quick reads at the line...

I have no idea other than that, the QB from Alabama (McElroy) who was the backup for the Jets claimed he almost got a perfect score. He aint the backup no more, dont even know where he's at.

most people thought that was on Tony...NOPE...that was Dez running the wrong route which is something he probably does way more than peple know.

Dez has all the phyiscal tools in the world, but he is such a mental midget that it is too hard for Tony to trust him in key situations.

I think Tony is a good enough QB to turn just about any decent WR in the next "Robinson" which is exactly what will happen this year. Also look for Miles to return as the top guy.

Dez will just be a big play guy...lofts to the endzone and simple things that are hard for him to screw up.

Please. That pick was ALL Romo. It doesn't even matter if it was the wrong route. Revis had a safety over the top so there was double coverage toward Dez. Are you seriously trying to test the best corner in football? GO TO YOUR NEXT READ INSTEAD OF PANICKING AND THROWING IT ON THE RUN. You're a Cowboys fan yet you don't even know that Dez hasn't had a full offseason yet? You're gonna give up on him after his second season where he put up 900 and 9 with a QB not trusting him? Not to mention it's usually the 3rd season where a receiver breaks out and I expect big things from Dez. He's already the best receiver on his team and don't even bring up Laurent. He benefited from coverages shifted towards Dez and when Miles was on the field him too. He got vastly overpaid and I have no doubt in my mind that he'll be absolute garbage in Jacksonville. Big play guy? Wow in what world is that ever bad? If a big play guy puts up 900 and 9 in his second season without a playbook you think he's not gonna get any better? And this is coming from a Texans fan.

Dez ran the wrong route and yes it makes all the difference in the world...obviously

on a come back route the QB throws before the WR breaks...if the WR never breaks then...yeah

and that is not even close to the first time Dez has fcked up a route...he does it a lot, it has been his biggest knock so far and the reason Tony trusted Robinson over him late in games.

Not for a CB idiot. When did that become a mentally demanding position again? Didnt stop him from becoming a top prospect in the NFL draft now did it? Nor did it stop him from all the accomplishments and accolades he recieved playing CB with a learning disability huh? So go ahead and play up how SERRRRRRRIOUS this is. You cant even begin to explain why it is.

*sprays air freshener in thread*

It stinks, I wonder why.

if you don't think having a learning disabilty could be an issue for a player of ANY position then you would score around a 4 on the wonderlic too

this mfer makes Dez Bryant look like Einstein

the entire reason his score leaked to the public and not Luck's or Griffin's is because it became red flag

Former GM Bill Polian said his score doesnt hurt his draft stock one bit. Its meaningless. And about his learning disability teams will just talk to his teachers/coaches at school. The only issue with his score is the fact it was released and its unfortunate he had to be embarrassed by all the hoopla.

There have been plenty of wonderlic scores low of successful football players. In fact one is a former teamamte Patrick Peterson. A guy you was arguing about for DROY last season. Go f*cking figure.

Mel Kiper and Todd McShay said this is a non issue. Herm Edwards a former CB, coach said its not a big deal at all. And I'm talkin his score/learning disability.

For other positions? I'm sure QB it would be an issue. MLB. But CB? Nah, sorry.

You're the only idiot in America who feels like you do.

Quote:
Bill Polian, the former Indianapolis Colts general manager and current ESPN analyst, was also disturbed that Claiborne's score had been leaked.

"There's nothing to worry about here," Polian said on ESPN. "It's a shame the young man has been put through this. I don't think it will affect his draft status."

Long-time scout and current columnist Greg Gabriel of the National Football Post writes that the Wonderlic test is not fair to Claiborne or other draft prospects:

When Claiborne came out of high school, the schools that recruited him knew he had a learning disability. I don't know much about his disability other than it has to do with reading.

Everyone I have talked to tells me that Claiborne has great character and is a great kid. He knows and understands his disability and uses all the resources that LSU has available to control it and to help him get by in the classroom.

When it comes to football he puts in extra time to learn and understand his assignments and it is not a problem. Will he need reps? Probably, but no more than the usual rookie would need. In saying that, Claiborne's test score was not a true indicator of his intelligence. He can and does learn.

What I suspect happened is a club drafting after (the fifth spot) leaked the test score to try and scare off teams in the top five from drafting Claiborne.

This is dirty pool but it often happens at this time of year in the NFL. Just remember, if you start to hear a lot of negative things about some highly rated players in the next few weeks, it may be because a team who drafts later in the round wants the player to drop.
