Rays just gave this one away. They had chances. Left too many on base.

Bullpen has been a joke today.

I know it's only one game, but this one was huge b/c I don't see the Rays even touching Verlander tomorrow. I bet Verlander throws a 1-hitter tomorrow.

Lol, when Laird lays down an RBI it's time to pack it in. Avila's wins above Laird replacement must be through the roof.

Absolutely shocked. Perhaps a year or so too long, but I LOVE the commitment shown by the front office. They are DESPERATE to bring a winner to Cincinnati. The core of Bruce/Votto/Phillips will now be around for a LONG time, and it's up to the fans to respond. 16k in the stands last night for a game against a division rival is NOT good enough.
Wow did not see six years coming. The initial reports said they were working on a four year deal so this comes as a bit of a shocker. Good for them, though.

And sucks about the fans, but as I've been watching the games it seems like there is a sold out crowd announced everywhere, but a lot of empty seats in most stadiums. Kind of weird.

Good game. Rays just let it get away in the end. Nice outing from Porcello.

That kid caught 7 homers last year.

Also on the Brandon Phillips extension he's basically a middle class version of kinsler. Glad to see both of them get paid

Heard that LAPD was going undercover for the home opener, and cops were dressing up as Pirates fans. So anyone sporting fans in Pirates jerseys with a high and tight haircut, and a bulge at their hip......don't heckle those guys.

Must be a spoiled kid, being at enough Rangers home games to catch 7 balls. And you can tell he's never missed a meal.

Spoiled lil bastard.

The Jays blew up good last night, but they sure made a wicked intro video.
