Its weird. Like you said, you guys can't beat the Royals or Twins and we can't beat you guys yet we sweep the Yanks and take series from LA and TEX yet we get swept by KC too. Just a random year. But the ChiSox need to win just to maintain a strong hold on a postseason spot. Even if its for a wild card spot.

Tigers have been that way for awhile. The team that was supposed to break the RBI record or whatever, lost to the royals more times than they won. And had a winning record against the Al East/West they just didn't win the central. It's frustrating as hell.

Next week is another 4 game series that probably goes a long way towards deciding the division. Then we finish up against the twins/royals/twins for the last 10 games.

Jurickson Profar will be making his MLB debut today against Cleveland, he will be playing second base and batting ninth.

Watching both the Rangers-Indians and Jays-Rays, and witnessed another meltdown by poor Ricky Romero. What a terrible outing, Moises Sierra made a laughably bad play on Upton's routine fly ball.

Follows it up with a double and apparently he has a 16 year old brother that is signing with the Rangers as well.

Don't know what is wrong with Ricky but I'm surprised that nothing seems to have been done to correct him. send him to the minors or to the pen for awhile but do something.

To me it seems like his confidence is completely shot, when he walked 8 batters a few starts back was the low point. He just looks like he has no confidence in his stuff. They need to send him to the minors or just shut him down.

He doesn't have great stuff so when his command falters (like it has all season) he will get into big trouble. Top of the line guys can make mistakes and get away with them due to their stuff. #3 "workhorse" guys like Romero cannot.

So all the signs are pointing to a blockbuster Andrus plus something for Justin Upton trade in the offseason amirite? Even though Andrus has had the better year, Upton should still have more trade value.

I assume some team will go full-retard when it comes to offering Josh Hamilton a huge contract and, IMO, the Rangers would smart to let him walk. That creates an opening in the OF. Profar is ready. Andrus is due an extension soon. The DBacks have a gaping hole at SS and want to win now.

There is no way we do Elvis plus for upton. Elvis for upton would be fine but we aren't adding anything. We can easily play kinsler in left. Also on the contracts front, Elvis has 2 years 11.25 mil on his contract after this year. Upton has 3 years 38.5 mil. The contract isn't an advantage for upton.

I always assumed that Ricky had front line rotation potential but after seeing him struggle I guess he is more average than I first realized. As an A's fan he sort of reminds me of Tommy Milone with less command.
