Re: MLB Thread 2012
It's mind-boggling how a player as awful as Michael Young has gotten so much playing time this year.

My guess, he ends up in Atlanta. McCann's season probably freed up more cash for the Braves, and they could get away with playing him at cf for a couple more years.

Re: MLB Thread 2012
The Rangers should let Hamilton walk regardless. Assuming he gets a gigantic amount over 5+ years, he's going to be a bad investment for any team.

Re: MLB Thread 2012
Hamilton has made some huge errors the past couple series against the A's. Well really its only been two games, but still.

Re: MLB Thread 2012
Can one of these teams just win handily (preferably Oakland)?
I'd rather they have some pitchers left and not be burned out so they can beat Baltimore/NY.

Hamilton the other day in the Dallas Morning News
"I still had a pretty good year," Hamilton said. "Just think if I hadn't taken off June and July. We'll work on that next year."

Re: MLB Thread 2012
The A's bullpen has been great but is over worked;
Cook's 4th apperance in arow
Doolittle has pitched 4 of 5 going into today
and Balfour has pitched 3 straight games
I hope the A's tack on a few runs so they don't have to use the rest of their plus relievers.
