Verlander with a CG 4 hits, 11Ks, and the ALDS strikeout record.

I don't even know who to root for anymore.

If the Giants win another World Series I might be sick to my stomach with the front-runners I'll have to endure. So not them. Please God not them.

The Yankees I hate more than any other team in baseball, almost in all of sports. So not them.

The Cardinals are kinda boring to me. And I enjoy parity if my team isn't gonna win. So not them.

The Tigers I actually dig, but they knocked us out. It would be cool to see Cabrera win a Triple Crown, MVP, and then lead to a title. But they have Valverde who can eat a fuckin CRATE of *****. So.... ehh.

The Nationals are cool. But the problem is if they win and Gio is a G and you know that Kurt Suzuki would be a G too just cause that's how it works for A's fans. I don't dig that.

So... I guess I'm rooting for the Oriels? This is weird...

Every team has frontrunners. The Giants in '10 were no worse than any other team.

They're also in the playoffs regularly, so seeing them in the WS is somewhat repetitive(though not in recent years).

Small ball wins titles. Small ball is the equivalent of team defense in basketball.

Tigers are also hot and cold, more so than the other teams.

They have great pitching, but I'm against them for how they handled Strasberg.

They're scary good in 1 run games. That's what got them to the playoffs and what cost Tampa Bay a playoff spot.

I have said this before and I stand by it:

Bay area fans, specifically SF fans are just some of the most annoying. I can't even describe it but it's like an arrogance. Not even like a Yankee/Laker arrogance like: "We have tons of titles." just like a total arrogance for no raison! This includes my fellow 49'er fans.

And the Giants fans have been the worst representing that ideal. Because these front runners feed off of it and do the same thing.

The best? Warriors fans.

I'm going to be rooting for Detroit to win it now, but only because it kind of feels like I'm cheering for the Marlins with Leyland, Miggy, Infante, and Anibal.

A's had a great season but the Tigers were a bad match up plus they were a team that came in hot after they came back and won the Central. I'm excited for the A's going forward because they have their young stars locked in for a few years, it will be interesting to see what they can bring in. I would really like and upgrade at 2nd base and maybe one big bat behind Cespedes.

You can't seriously believe that.

If you mean "small ball" as in sac bunts, trying to steal and all these other silly risky/pointless things managers call for then no, no no no.

The Yankees have beaten no one in the ALDS since 2001 except the Twins.

I like how you said "no one" then added Twins.

I remember when A-Rod was a nightmare to pitch against.

Now he's just some average, rotational player. Hard to watch a potential top 5 position player ever turn into this.

I think I'd prefer to see the Yankee's old bats in the lineup vs our pitching. Especially with their strong reliance on CC and they'll be in an even worse boat with him than us with Verlander considering the extra day of rest.
