That kind of offense from a CF is a HOF-caliber. "Insane" to me.
His July was Ruthian, with 800 slugging. The rest of the time he was more Kirby Puckett-ish, which is still great but not "insane". At least how I see it.
My God Nats. Can't ever give us an easy win. Giving up lead off hits and walks like its nothing. Need some fireballers in our bullpen next year. I'm sick of these weak ass ninjas
Has a team ever had as much luck and good fortune as they've had since last October? I mean it seems like every crucial moment they've needed a good bounce, or a pitcher to suddenly lose control, or a fielder to f**k up a routine play, they've gotten it.
Well, this is going to a fun week. I live in Arkansas in a part of the state where there's a shitload of Cardinals fans.
Whoever said Giants fans in the Bay Area are bad, well....Cardinals fans may at least rival them in annoyance. Not that they're frontrunners, but they're so cocky and arrogant. They think they're God's gift to baseball.
Back into the playoffs last year, teams shit themselves every time they have a chance to eliminate them, and they win a World Series. Off to the same kind of start this year. In the wildcard game Atlanta, the best fielding team in the NL, commits three or four errors that directly leads to (I think) four of their six runs. Game 5 of the NLDS, they're down on the road 7-5, score 4 in the 9th with two outs...moving on to the NLCS.
