hahaha serves the Nats right. You shut down your ace and you deserve to lose in the first round. Never underestimate how difficult it is to win a world series. Props to the beastly Cardinals.
You'd think the Nationals would start Strasberg considering this team hasn't made the playoffs in over 30 years. I call it karma. With any luck, they won't ever win.

I thought doctors suggested it though? You'd rather they not shut him down and he ends his career possibly?

It's highly unlikely that would happen. Even if he were to blow out his arm again, it wouldn't end his career - and his arm could blow out at any time, it could blow out on his first pitch of spring training. It was bad move, and everyone around baseball seems to think it was a bad move as well, and have taken a strong dislike to the Nats organization because of it.

cmon man, they didnt have this kinda babying 50 years ago... the stupid jaba rules basically ruined his career and his chances of becoming a superstar and his chance at a lotta money in the future. but im sure every situation is different.
One of ESPN's obscure bits of trivia I found interesting.

Via Elias, Pete Kozma is 1st rookie with GW RBI in winner-take-all game since Earl McNeely in 1924- last time D.C. won a playoff series
Pulling for the Giants now. Anyone but the Yankees.
As far as Trout, the kid is the real deal. He's a solid and clutch hitter, dangerous on the base paths, and a gold glove CFer. Guy was playing like prime Pittsburgh Barry Bonds out there... only it's his first full year, not his 5th or 6th like Barry.
