So now Pablo Sandoval will forever be a part of a club that, before tonight, included only Babe Ruth, Albert Pujols, and Reggie Jackson.

Sandoval is a damn good player, but he still doesn't really fit in with that group.

Well that didn't go as planned. Some bad luck to go along with some bad pitches, but just one. Win tomorrow and everything changes.

What a turn around for Zito. From being left off the playoff roster to throwing a gem in game 1 of the World Series and knocking in a run.

Is there a single fan out there that hopes their team signs Delmon in the offseason? Serious question because I can't think of an argument for even spending a roster spot for free on him.

I'll remember the Giants for being an example of team. Different people at different times stepping up to help the team win - pitching, hitting, defense.

I wonder if Lincecum is done as a starter. They'll probably let him try at the start of next year but he should have a short leash if he starts to have another brutal season.

Wow, I was watching ESPN earlier today and Curt Schilling and a lot of other analysts said the Giants should be looking to win game 2 because Verlander has game 1 locked up. Well, Kung Fu Panda just gave a big f*ck you to that analys

You don't need to wonder about that. He's a starter, the end.

He had mechanical issues. Going to the pen won't/wouldn't help him in that regard.

I usually go for the AL team in the WS and I'm actually glad the Tigers are repping the AL Central but I just can't bring myself to root for a hated division rival...good luck Detroit but GO GIANTS!!!

There is more than mechanical issues when you lose 2 mph on your fastball, lose some command of it too and are hesitant to use your slider that was once a wipeout pitch. But given how good of a starter he used to be, he should be given every chance to fail first before limiting him as a reliever.
