The Giants need Bumgarner to come out strong tonight. His arm has just looked tired toward the end of the regular season and the playoffs, now that he's had about 10-11 days off he might come in looking fresh and ready to deal.

It is TERRIBLY irresponsible to let Fister continue pitching after this.
He needs to go for an MRI or CAT scan ASAP.

Seriously. He may act fine now, but hell even McCarthy was able to walk off on his own power and he eventually went through several surgeries. You don't know what's going on inside that head until you take him in.

Looks like the Tigers are going to have to go to the bullpen which is an advantage for the Giants. Bumgarner has gotten some breaks with Detroit's shitty baserunning and his defense backing him up.
