The Nationals are calling up Bryce Harper to the Majors tomorrow when they put Ryan Zimmerman on the DL.

This is the wrong move IMO, he's been struggling at Triple A

He's got a barely 700 ops in triple A. I don't get it

Miggy with his 1000th career RBI. 4th youngest to do it I think is what a graphic said during the game.

Also, not to do with the games or anything, but Marlins preside Dave Samson ran 52.4 miles from 7 AM until game time today to benefit a few charities. Maybe he can hit for the team too.

BJ Upton was obviously safe on that play. Bullshit call by the home plate ump.

I'm watching the game with a Rangers fan and he even agrees.

Should be 6-1

Rays up 7-1 now.

Should be 8-1.

I'm going to the next two games. With my luck, we'll win this one but lose the two games I'll be at

The Angels are a mess right now. It's time to bench Vernon Wells and let Mike Trout play.

He was clearly out. His lead foot was above the plate and Napoli tagged him before his hand touched. Not looking like its gonna matter though

For the money they are paying Wells right now, they can't.

So they're going to pay him his ridiculous contract and make the team worse? They need to pay him, but he's making them worse and Trout has nothing left to prove at Triple A, he's hitting over .400 down there.

I don't get that logic. They are paying wells that money regardless. It's a sunk cost. If they can get more value by playing trout(and clearly they could) then they should play him

Yep. I agree completely. Bench his ass, he sucks, it's time to bite the bullet and admit they screwed up and get Trout his playing time. They have to pay Wells regardless, but he's making them worse, if he cries about being benched? Release him.

I hate the logic of "he sucks and we have better replacements but we have to play him because he's paid a lot"
