He was clearly out. His lead foot was above the plate and Napoli tagged him before his hand touched. Not looking like its gonna matter though
Nap's foot was blocking the plate, but Upton's foot touched home plate before Napoli reached around and tagged him. Just b/c Nap's foot was touching Upton doesn't mean he was out.

He was clearly safe.
They replayed it ten times in slo mo on the rangers broadcast. They even freeze framed it. He was out.
Aside from today the Marlins starting pitching has been pretty damn good. ERA less than 2 on their last road trip, but no wins to show for it. Just goes to see how terrible their hitting has been. Getting shut out again in the 9th. Perez was hired as the hitting coach last season (which many players didn't want Mallee gone) and now Reyes, Stanton, and Hanley have been looking grim at the plate. Of course its not all on Perez, but this lineup should not be this bad.

He's always been a slow starter in terms of HR. I think it took him 9 games his first year and 14 games last year, but considering expectations and how bad he's looked at the plate this is a lot more concerning. He didn't play much in the spring, but by now he should have found his stroke already. He needs change his name back, that should do the trick
Apparently the Angels released Bobby Abreu.

Joe Saunders has been unbelievable for the D-Backs this year, this is a guy who they weren't even going to bring back yet he's been dominant, 0.90 ERA through his first 4 starts and threw a complete game 3 hit shutout today.
This game could get real interesting real fast. The rangers just refuse to have a true blowout loss. Napoli gonna bat with 2 on nobody out in the 8th, rays up 8-4
Edit and he struck out

A.J. Burnett pitched really well tonight again even though the Bullpen allowed the Braves to blow it open
6 IP, 2 ER, 8 K's
I was following the game on my phone and saw it was 2-1 in the 7th. Got caught up in what I was doing and didn't check it again for awhile and saw we won 6-1.
Also got to see the fourth part of what makes the Atlanta bullpen so good. Aside from the O'Vembrel trio (O'Flaherty, Venters, Kimbrel) we've also got a really good long-relief guy in Kris Medlen who is still fairly young and will be a really solid #3 or #4 starter for us or someone else one day.
