Pretty pissed that Stanton and Hanley have started the season 0-8 in two games, but damn Rasmus is 0-7 in just one game

My comments were more in terms of "use Santos instead of Perez!". Once Perez came in then yea, you can't take him out after only 1 inning.

Kershaw has to leave game after 3 innings with a stomach virus.

Volquez his usual self, dazzling stuff, zero command of it, 4 IP, 5Ks, 4 Walks, 2 ER 80 pitches.

Well I guess I better book some time off at work for October. It's now obvious that the Jays will be hosting some playoff games this year. Yep.

Reds looked very good today. Got great work out of Cueto, the bullpen looked sharp, the offense had timely hits, and the defense was awesome. I'll take another 161 games of all those things falling into place, just as described above

Jose Bautista and Matt Kemp continuing where they left off from their MVP seasons last year.

Wait, what? They gave the MVPs to someone else?

So I'm a day late and a dollar short, but Ali looked AWFUL when the Marlins wheeled him out the other day. I honestly didn't know who it was until his name came up. Jeff Loria sitting there with his arm around him and that shit eating grin on his face just made me sick. I seriously thought it was some local Miami resident that had cancer or something. It was really, really sad.

A lot of the fans on the Marlins board I visit were saying the same thing and I made a tiny comment on it yesterday. That whole thing just looked too sad to be going on. The cart they were on was going super slow and the crowd was dead as hell when it was going on so it just created this big sad awkward moment that I wish didn't happen.

A Pujols hit tonight will leave me 53 games away from winning 5.6 million bucks. Obviously he'll hit a dinger for me.

Jered Weaver is pitching an absolute gem tonight.

8 IP, 4 H's, 0 ER's, 0 R's, 0 BB's, 10 K's.

Too bad he has gotten no run support.

0-0 in the bottom of the 8th.

Also, Chad Billingsly is pitching a gem as well for the Dodgers - 7 IP's, 2 H's, 0 ER's, 1 BB, 11 K's.

One more note from the Angels game - good lord Mark Trumbo looks terrible at 3rd base, already committed 2 errors including an embarrassing dropped fly pop up.

ethier with a 2 rbi triple tonight to get his first hit of the season and billingsley looks fantastic, lots of consistency in his fastball and tons of movement on his curve. dodgers up 6-0 in the 9th, looking like they'll start off winning their first 2 games of the season
