Because the Marlins imploded last June and had a god awful record, and now they've lost six or seven in a row this June.
This.
There were already questions in the lineup when they were at full health, but with Boni out its made them especially apparent in the outfield. The pitching started off hot, but everyone knew a regression was coming and its just so happened to coincide with the time half the lineup should be in AAA.
On a different note, what a way to celebrate a win by projective vomiting on the mound

I'm reading in a couple places that are saying if Soler was an American prospect that he would only be getting a fraction of what he got. There might be some sense in that.

He would be, because his value would be artificially limited by the draft

I think what people mean is that in a general sense no fan would feel too great if someone like Buxton got 30 million right out the gate. I could be wrong though, I'm pretty unfamiliar with the perceived value of prospects.
Aside from a shaky first inning that he managed to get out of, JJ has looked really nice tonight. Just got out of another jam allowing only 1 run. Unfortunately that first threw his pitch count too high so that might be his last inning. Hopefully the bullpen can produce.
