This team was 7-3 and red hot with Jay Cutler and Forte healthy last year. They had the easy part of their schedule coming up and likely would have finished 12-4 or 11-5
This off season, they made a monster upgrade at WR with one of the best receivers in the game in Brandon Marshall. Marshall not only improves the #1 WR position, but he'll make life easier for Hester and Bennett as well as Forte running the ball. They also improved the short distance back situation with Michael Bush. The offensive line played well last year despite a bunch of injuries and will likely be much more healthy this season
I don't see any reason why they can't be a top 3 team in the NFC next year, In fact, I would say the Bears and Packers will likely be the 2 best teams in the NFC next year
I wanna see Cutler sling to his old go to target. Cutler will get the props he deserves really soon. I, for one, am very excited to see that offense and how they will improve.
It's weird, I at least 'kinda like' every single team in the NFC North even though they battle with my team for playoff spots
The Lions on paper are so much better than the Bears, and of course GB. They're playing in the second toughest division (toughest in the NFC, with NFC South catching up, quickly) ... bad time to be a Bears fan.

Jay Cutler is trash.
In what way, shape, or form? Besides quarterback and obviously a better
number one receiver?
I don't see any reason why the Bears, BEARing injuries.... LOLOLOLOL, shouldn't compete for the number one spot in the division. Their schedule is easier than the Packers is as well from the looks of it.

Quarterback? Stafford is the most overrated QB in the NFL. Give him the shit Cutler has to work with and he'd lead the league in interceptions, if he could even survive half the season playing behind guys like Omiyale and J'Marcus Webb.

I'd just argue that most people would say Stafford is better.
I'm not a fan of Stafford nor am I saying he's a top 10 QB by any means.

Sorry, that argument is just false. You can't throw for over 5000 yards because of good support, you have to be a good quarterback.
As for as the Bears being better than the Lions. It is hard to tell. It is going to be a very interesting year in the NFC North, as the top three teams are capable of winning 10+ games.

.
Apparently, defense and run game don't matter in football anymore?
Bears are going to be ranked around #10-15 in passing, top 5 in running (bush and forte are awesome), top 10 in defense. How in the world are the lions better than that with their bottom 10 defense and non existent run game?

With a decent draft, the Lions should be able to improve upon their secondary. The d-line is already good, so it is highly unlikely that they will be a bottom 10 defense. I am fvcking tired of people rating their defense by the last few games they played last season. So many guys were injured that it looked nothing like the defense that played in the beginning of the season. As for the second comment, their run game that was 'non existent' last year was due to the fact that they lost their top back to concussions and lost their top draft pick to an injury before the first game. By the end of the season, Kevin Smith and Maurice Morris were the only options, and even Kevin Smith got hurt. So unless you are assuming that both Best and Leshoure will get hurt again, their run game will be far from non existent.
