Give him scrubs and the team won't be so bad, he might even edge them towards the playoffs. But it works both ways. Give him the most talented, star-studded and deepest team in the league and he'll manage to not lead it to the finals.

His Suns were flawed both structurally and from a coaching perspective.

Talent was not the issue, it was how it fitted.

No interior defense = no titles.
No interior defense + Dantoni as a coach = not titles
