Q's Quote:
Third and final game between the two sides and the Clippers look to sweep the season series for the first time in a long, long time. Clippers lost to the Lakers and are 1.5 behind them, but realistically, its 2.5 as the Lakers now hold the tie-breaker. If they can win tonight and the Lakers choke in Phoenix, it would be down to 1.5 for the 3rd seed. Players have also fired shots about this game, see below.

Next five for the Clips: @ Memphis, @ Oklahoma City, @ Minnesota, vs Golden State, @ Oklahoma City

DeMarcus Cousins on Blake Griffin:
Quote:
"He's the poster child of the league. He sells tickets, but he's babied. Bottom line."
Quote:
"The refs, the league -- period," he continued. "He gets away with [everything]. He taunts players. Nothing is done. He's babied."
Quote:
"Of course that's what Blake is going to say because he's in L.A., where actors belong," Cousins said when told that Griffin was "moving on" to the rematch. "He's an actor."
Quote:
"I guess the wind from my hand hit him in the eye," he said sarcastically. "I guess he got fouled by the wind. I'm not sure."

Chris Paul on DeMarcus Cousins comments:
Quote:
"That’s fine. We won. He lost. We’re competing for the playoffs. He’s not."

Default Re: GT: Clippers vs Kings 4/7

A much needed win by the Clippers as they blew the Kings out. Lakers losing in Phoenix was also much needed.

109-94 was the final, 8th win in 9 games for the Clips after the 0-3 b2b2b road swing.

Quote:
NOTES: The Clippers’ only loss since March 22 was last Wednesday to the Lakers, who hold the head-to-head tiebreaker edge. … Clippers G Mo Williams sat out his ninth straight game with a bruised toe. His return is expected imminently. … Kings F Chuck Hayes sat out with the latest in a series of apparent cases of food poisoning for the Kings. “I’m going to start cooking for this team and keep it real simple: plain paste, chicken breasts, and that’s it,” Smart said.
