There should be much more action in this thread, I'm disappointed in our young Lakers brothers who don't seem to know anything about team history.
Silk was not only a great shooter but was like a ghost, sneaking into the paint unseen and catching Magic's rocket passes, scoring reverse layups.
I mean Magic would whip those passes seemingly to no one....but Silk would be there, I've never seen anyone so stealth. Kids....go watch video!!!!!

I can't tell you how much I miss those days, those guys, the forum and all.
These guys were all cool to talk with. (All because Kareem wasn't there)

DKLaker, thanks for the youtube, Bro those were the days of GREAT basketball games. Seems funny to see norm nixion running the point guard position and not Magic.
Glad to see Wlkes doing GREAT and enjoying retirement life.

I completely get that, and some guys......probably most guys aren't into sports history. Lol....there's not much basketball history that pre-dates me....but in other sports I am into the history and know who and what happened in the past....but hey, that's just me Fortunately I have been blessed to meet and talk to so many former legends in sports.....things today have changed in a bad way.
