14 Year Old 7 Foot Georgios Papagiannis: "2016 NBA Draft #1 Pick"

So, I was just talking to a couple of scouts about 14 year old Peristeri center George Papagiannis.........

Papagiannis is 14 years old and has moved up to the top Greek professional league's first division, where he plays with the Greek League club Peristeri.

He has been measured at 6'10 3/4" barefoot, and at 7' 0 1/4" in shoes.

I have been asking a couple scouts I know what they think of him, and they both said, "he is the #1 NBA draft pick in the year 2016".

Here is a clip of him playing against the Euroleague champions, Panathinaikos, at age 14. He is #19 in yellow, playing at the center position.

The guy he is guarding is #14 in green, Ian Vougioukas. Vougioukas, for comparison, is 6-11 270 - just to give you an idea on how big this 14 year old is.

Didn't seem overly impressive, reminded me of Paul Davis/Nick Fazekas, but then again, he is only 14. Regardless, I see his ceiling being a slightly worse Chris Kaman.

But then again, since Sofo is 10x the player Kaman can dream of being, maybe that isn't much of a ceiling
