Jack
Gordon
Aminu
Davis
Free agent

6th man: Rivers

Is a very dangerous squad if they mesh. You guys all keep getting hung up on Hornets so forget Hornets then and explain this.

Are they going to knock the young, improving Jazz out of 8th seed? Beat out the Rockets, Wolves and Blazers? They were just as bad as the Kings last year but the Kings have more upside so why will they be better? They were the 13th seed in the west last year. If Suns make good free agent acquisitions they can be in the discussion too.

Gordon has been hurt the past two years and he might not even be on the team next season. Without him healthy they are one of the worst teams in the league on paper at least. With him healthy they have a chance to be competitive maybe, playoffs highly unlikely.

Way to early to say. FA is less than a day old.

they were a lot better than the 13th best team in the conference, they tanked about as blatantly as any team in recent history

At best they were the 10th best team in the west. As I said... you can make a case that the fringe playoff teams ahead of them improved MORE than the Warriors in the draft. Free agency can change a lot but the OP is asking us to make this decision BEFORE free agency is over and my opinion is multiple teams will be ahead of them for the playoff spot. I expect them to be 10-11 seed.

Injuries held them back. But in the same regard, that's what's been holding the Warriors back.

There was like a 2 month stretch right before Ellis was traded where the roster was for the most part fully healthy for any significant period of time. They were like .500 during that stretch and playing some really solid ball beating some nice teams (including the Clippers twice) with a number of other really close losses. .500 ball is not stellar by any means but definitely closer to the type of ball they were expected to be playing at and definitely better than the level they had been playing for the past cumulative year.

The west is stacked so making a playoff berth will be hard but "if" healthy, very plausible. They even look to have found a decent PG back-up, which has been an issue for the longest time, in Jenkins.

id say the top 7 in the west stays the same

then you have
jazz
warriors
blazers
wolves

fighting for that 8th spot, and i think those 4 teams are all pretty close together
