Philly and Orlando amidst downward spirals. Howard-less Magic obliterated at home against Hawks. Philly at full strength loses to the Nets at home.

We are at the 7th seed only 3 games behind Orlando, and Howard's back will be a crucial factor in acquiring the 6th seed.

Didn't see Orlando crumbling, but Philly has been severely overrated.

Knicks move up to 9-0 at MSG since Woodson took over.

Next 2 home games are really, really tough;Miami and Boston.

I would be happy with a split but winning both of them would be something special, especially because these are the two teams I hate the most in the NBA.

we take the same team as of now to the playoffs, it would be a better team (minus amare again and minus lin) than what melo had to work with last year.

so any addition of amare and lin down the stretch and in the playoffs will be a huge bonus

I was thinking this as well.

You can't throw all your defenders at Melo like Boston did, with Chandler, JR, Shump, Novak around, even without including Amar'e who seems to be ready to come back soon.

Bucks lost against the Pacers.
Now they are 2.5 games behind us right now.
I prefer to have the playoffs locked for sure before looking at the potential 6th seed.
On Monday we have a Philly-Orlando game,win-win situation for the Knicks.

You know how I feel about, it doesn't matter what the Bucks do.

I've been on that for a while.

It's too much shuffling that may start to go one with the 6-8 spots, and even though I thought the Bucks might get in on that 8th with us at that 7th, I think they might just fold now.

They're letting teams get them rattled late in games, and that's when you're supposed to rise, not fall.

I don't want us to stay at 7th.
I want either 6th or 8th seed,I'm not really happy with facing Miami in the 1st round.

We'll probably make the playoffs but until we mathematically secure it I won't stop looking at the Bucks. Anything can happen.Nobody can guarantee you that Melo or Tyson won't get injured or stuff like that.
Like I said we'll probably make the playoffs but I want to be sure about that before looking ahead.

Yes,they are. I'm confident about that but there's nothing wrong with being cautious. But one injury can screw up everything, that's why I want us to mathematically secure it before starting to celebrate.

We really need to get that 6th seed. I think we should be able to beat the Pacers in a 7 game series but our chances against Miami and Chicago are slim.especially with Lin not being able to play and Amare coming off a back injury.

True, very true.

But to even think about the 6th seed, you can't be thinking about the Bucks as well.

The team is in good hands now, if this was a D'antoni-led squad, I wouldn't be as sure.

They will make the playoffs, I have absolutely no doubts in my mind about that, and most likely aren't finishing 8th.

Get ready for a Knicks-Heat 1st round matchup.

1999 remix.......

Can't wait.

I was 6 years old back then, actually even a little bit younger

But I downloaded some Knicks-Heat games from 90's and I certainly remember that I watched the one in which Allan Houston made that game winner in game 5 to upset the Heat.

I think you're going to like this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VialQUiR-m8

Like I knew....

Tyson is hurt.

Hopefully it isn't anything serious.

I hope he's ok too, but he sucked the whole game prior to the injury.

Tyson needs to tell the coach when he really isn't able to go.

You can't allow a layup drill and Chris Bosh getting 1400 rebounds.
