Sunday, March 18th Results:
-Clippers defeated the Pistons and guarantee, at least, the 4th seed for the rest of the day.

-In the return games for Z-Bo and Gay, Memphis ended up beating Washington by 5 to remain a half game within the Clips for home-court.

-Michael Redd's resurgence helped the Suns get within a half game of the 8th seed with a win against Houston.

-Thunder with a blow out win against Portland to increase lead for Western Conference HCA.

-Kings down the Wolves, throwing the Wolves 2 games out of the 8th seed.

-Jazz down the Lakers, getting them to within a half game of the 8th seed and helping the Clippers get within 1.5 games of the 3rd Seed and Pacific Division Crown.

Monday March 19th Games
Dallas @ Denver
-An interesting game for the 6th seed in the conference, but a Dallas win will put them half a game behind us for the 4th and last home court seed. Huge game for Denver as well, a loss will put them 1.5 out of 6th seed.

Minnesota @ Golden State
-After losing in Sacramento, Minnesota fell 2.5 out of the 8th seed, they need this in order to keep their playoff aspirations open.

Not going to be able to update the OP for a while, but if the Clips can beat the Hornets tonight, we will be only 2 games behind the Lakers for the Pacific Division crown with a game left against them

It's all good q, you're doing a great job. 2 games behind LA... I honestly think we can grab 3 if we get our heads out of the sand.

Last night, the Lakers snuck out a win in Golden State to regain a 2.5 game lead on the Clips for the Pac Division title. Dallas escaped in Houston and tied with the Clips for 4th place and Memphis took Minnesota to stay within a half game behind the Clips.

Tonight, we host the Suns, who have cooled off but still are hoping to stay in the hunt as they are 2 out of the 8th seeded Nuggets and 7th seeded Jazz.

Utah plays in Boston and they are 1.5 behind us, currently in the 7th seed and .5 up on the 9th seeded Rockets.

Spurs are 6.5 ahead of us and have a game in Sacramento. They are not mathematically out of reach but essentially are.

Nothing overly dramatic on todays games, but best case scenario, we cut to 2 behind the Lakers, 5.5 behind the Spurs for 2nd and a bigger cushion on 7th seeded Utah,

With the Clips winning last night paired with losses by Denver and Utah, the Clips are +2.5 from the 9th seed and a little more breathing room.

Tonight, the Clips can get to 1.5 of the Pacific Division lead if the Thunder can defeat the Lakers in Los Angeles. Dallas also plays in Miami and if the Heat can win, it'll give us a full game over Dallas for the 4th seed and tie them with Memphis for #5.

Overall though, winning 3 in a row was huge even though one of them was against the Hornets and the other against a tired and Hill-less Suns squad and with Portland/Utah being the next two, can easily extend it to five in a row and 31-21 overall. Dallas and the Lakers follow after that, two games that can really solidfy whether we can contend for the division or just go for Home court.

Clips eek out Portland and are now 1 back of the Lakers for #3. Dallas beat Orlando and remain 1 back from us and Memphis lost, dropping them to two back.

Today, Lakers host Hornets with Gordon's possible return while Memphis visits the Bucks, who are fighting to stay alive in the East while we host the Jazz who are in 9th seed and a game behind Denver in the West. Doubt Hornets can pull the upset, so we need to win to remain 1 behind the Lakers for #3.

Lakers snuck out a win against the Hornets, as did Memphis against the Bucks, but the Clips handled the Jazz to remain one behind the 3rd seeded Lakers and 2 ahead of the 6th seeded Grizzlies.

Lakers host the W's tonight, so we'll either be 1.5 out of 3rd or .5.

Lakers snuck out a win against the W's last night and remain 1.5 up on the Clips.

Tonight, we are in Dallas, who is 1.5 behind us for the 4th seed, a win would be huge as it would make Wednesday nights game against the Lakers a possible division decider and drop the Mavs to 2.5 behind us. Or we'll be 2.5 behind the Lakers and only .5 on the Mavs. Memphis plays OKC and they are 2 behind us, currently.

I agree. I believe the series would go to a Game 7 which would be insane.

We had a great win against Dallas last night to give us more breathing room from them as they are now 6th seed and 2.5 behind us. Memphis defeated the Thunder and are now 5th and 2 games behind us. Clips are a game behind the Lakers for the 3rd seed as well.

Memphis is hosting the Warriors and can cut to 1.5 behind us or drop to a tie with the Mavericks. Lakers are also hosting the Nets, who have won 3 in a row, and its a game to keep an eye on. If the Lakers win, they will jump up to 1.5 ahead of us, and give us a chance to take the tie-breaker and only be .5 back if we win tomorrow, which is vital. If the Lakers do slip up tonight, we can take a .5 game lead and the tie-breaker if we can defeat the Lakers tomorrow night as well.

Clips with a let down in Memphis, Lakers squeak out a win vs tanking Hornets. We are now 1.5 back of the Lakers (2.5 if you consider the tie-breaker) and .5 up on the Grizzlies (1.5 if you consider the tie-breaker). Here's the remaining schedule:

Memphis:
vs Phoenix
@ San Antonio (b2b)
vs Utah
@ New Orleans (b2b)
@ Minnesota
vs New Orleans (b2b)
@ Charlotte
vs Portland (b2b)
vs Cleveland
vs Orlando

Least traveling of the three teams and just two (maybe three if Phoenix/Utah sneak in) playoff teams to face. 6 home games vs 4 road games, 4 back to backs however.

Clippers
@ Oklahoma City
@ Minnesota (b2b)
vs Golden State
vs Oklahoma City
@ Denver
vs Phoenix (b2b)
@ New Orleans
@ Atlanta
@ New York (b2b)

Clips have four playoff teams (five if Phoenix sneaks in and Denver stays in and two against #1 OKC) and have a ton of traveling to do. 3 back to backs with 3 home games vs 6 on the road.

Lakers:
@ San Antonio
vs Denver
vs Dallas
vs San Antonio
@ Golden State (b2b)
@ San Antonio
vs Oklahoma City
@ Sacramento

Only 1 set of back to back but all teams they face, sans the trips up to Northern California, are playoff teams with 4 of the games being against #1/#2 in the West. 4 home, 4 road games, and the most rest.

It still is possible to overtake the Lakers for the Pacific Division crown, but just as possible to drop to #5.
