The last chick I had was purely through internet interaction and phone calls.

Hey at least you got that far though. I'm the same way though. I'm always very reserved and shy.

The thing I hate though, is how it'll always be the ugly chicks that want me. It's never the girls I want, it's always the chicks that I wouldn't even f*ck with another dude's dick. Like I know I'm ugly but this shit has been going on for years.

The chick I talked to on the internet/phone a few years ago randomly asked me to be her prom date a few days ago. I thought it was about to be a win. Until she sent pictures of her in her dress....big as a f*cking house. Of course, just my luck

Then I dropped her off and she sat there looking at me for like 10 seconds obviously (to a regular person) waiting for me to try and kiss her. Gave her a fist bump. Then I was driving away i was like "waaaait a minute..."

the fistbump part has me weak right now

Yeah, meeting girls via internet seems pretty straightforward.

Meet girl online --> Add to facebook --> chat on facebook --> go on date, etc.

In everyday life it goes:

Meet girl somewhere --> Add to facebook --> chat on facebook --> go on date, etc.

If you think about it, why limit yourself to random encounters in your day to day life? There are many thousands of compatible girls out there that just didn't happen to be fortunate to live near you. So because of that, they're never given a chance? That doesn't seem right. Not using internet dating is like fishing in a puddle right beside a giant lake. I've convinced myself.

I usually don't get to the "chat on facebook" part though. I'm so insecure I spend a bunch of time thinking of the perfect intro to throw at her. I try to run through a bunch of scenarios then I usually just end up saying "**** it" and log on to ISH.

Usually, when I try to make friends with a stranger online, I end up either boring them, creeping them out or pissing them off: all with my sense of humor (or lack thereof)

Don't be so hard on yourself man. You're just trying too hard by the sounds of it. You should just talk to them like they're us here on ish.

Believe it or not, I try hard here on ISH too. I just have a different contrived personality on here.
