anywayi was out with a friend last week and he brought some of his friends, i didn't know any of them, so they were talking about some stuff i don't know shit about and that doesn't interest me(too afraid to talk)
so after a while this one guy asks me why i don't talk and i instead of saying something just looked at him like an idiot for about 2seconds and then looked back on my phone

Hey at least you got that far though. I'm the same way though. I'm always very reserved and shy.

The thing I hate though, is how it'll always be the ugly chicks that want me. It's never the girls I want, it's always the chicks that I wouldn't even f*ck with another dude's dick. Like I know I'm ugly but this shit has been going on for years.

The chick I talked to on the internet/phone a few years ago randomly asked me to be her prom date a few days ago. I thought it was about to be a win. Until she sent pictures of her in her dress....big as a f*cking house. Of course, just my luck
post pic of you. I might want you in my promos

I'm not sure whether I'm soc-awk or not... Depends... Sometimes I find really hard to fit in a group conversation, but sometimes I'm the queen. I'm picky with people, I guess.

When I was at school I was really awkward. We had a fire drill once and we had to go outside the front of the school and line up alphabetically using our surname. One of the hottest girls in my year came up to me and asked what my surname was (Always a good sign) The conversation went as follows.

Girl: What's your last name?

Me: Sharpe

Girl: What?!?

Me: Sharpe

Girl: Oh right, I thought you said shut up! (I mumble a lot)

Me: I did!

Girl: What?

Me: I'm joking...... it has an "E" by the way.

Girl: What?!? (now looking weirded out)

Me: My name, Sharpe.......it has an "E".......a silent "E" at the end of it....

Social awkward people eventually find a way to become non awkward. They just gotta bloom in their own little way.

I actually didn't have any social problems until I turned about 25. I was always that "yes guy" who always try to please people. I was the "tag-along friend" to my circle of friends because I don't think I really connected with anybody.

I did have one good close friend that I connected with but I moved away and we drifted away by the time I was 16.

I guess deep down inside I'm not really a people person but I always acted that way cuz I didn't like being lonely. Now I'm OK with it. I'm a lone wolf at heart with a little of need for companionship every once in awhile.

This one time, I was trying to muster the courage to ask this girl out. I tried catching up to her when she was going to an ATM, but I froze up. The next time I saw her, I followed her to a nearby bus stop. The first line I said was "I'm sorry for following you the other day."

Post a pic, we will be the judge of that. Sounds like a lot of you guys just need positive reinforcement about the general nuances that go with being physically interactive with ppl/women.

Seriously, you guys just psych yourselves out.

I've often wondered about alot of the posters on here. If they behaved out in a social enviroment they way they post they'd be quickly dubbed a social outcast. All most posters seem to do is nitpick the OP and not enguage in conversation.

"Y'all see the new American Pie?"

ISH poster: " It's "You All". Pics or you didn't see it you *****t. Futrue neg

Wow Mr. ISR, I honestly didn't know you had this problem. Your posting style "reads" like a pretty confident dude to me. I used to have this issue, until I started working jobs where you're dealing with people all the time. That's the best way to get over "people phobia" and perfect your technique for interaction.

It sounds crazy, but after a while, even "fine" females begin to look ordinary. From what I learned, if you treat them as if they're ordinary looking, they'll respect you more. The minute you start playing the "Genie In The Bottle" role (meaning, doing whatever they ask you), is the minute they lose total interest in you.

Also, if you love Video Games or making music, don't stop loving those things just because some female comes along who's not into those things. There's females out there who also enjoy those things, and don't base their lives around being an Attention Whore for the world 24 hours a day.

I've got another one. When cashiers or food servers say "have a nice day", I habitually say "you too" as a sign of friendliness. A few times, chefs said "have a nice meal" instead and the awkwardness begins. Luckily, I always play it off. At least I hope I do.
