You do know that campaigns are funded by these lobbyists that represent large corporations right?
And not only are the lobbyists funding campaigns, they're in the ears of the politicians as well. Corporations also have a huge influence in certain key members in congress and the cabinet. When they leave the public office and join the private sector, they're rewarded with stock options and a position, the list is endless.
Referring to teh SOPA bill, both politicians and even large corporations were AGAINST it.
The amount of bills filled with pork barrel projects and other bills that help corporations are plenty. But just to name some recent big ones, howabout the recent Wall Street bailout, the health care reform and the Afghanistan war. And we haven't even began getting into the energy kick backs and ties with Enron, tax breaks etc.etc.
