Default Thunder and CP3

When CP3 was available for a trade why didn't the thunder offer Westbrook for CP3? Westbrook trumps the clippers crap offer. It would have been a genius move.

He's the only guy I would be ok trading Westbrook for, as far as PG's go.....

He's older and had injury concerns at the time, Westbrook didn't.

I'm not mad either way

Because Presti has a hard-on for Westbrook.

Paul to OKC made too much sense. Out of all the blunders Presti made, not trading Westbrook for Paul might be the worst.

If I'm correct, CP3 could've have vetoed any offer...so:

Los Angeles >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Oklahoma City

No he couldn't. He had one year left on his deal and could have threatened not to re-sign but leaving a team with KD, Harden, and Ibaka just to play in a bigger market would have destroyed his image.

Not more sense than Westbrook + Perkins for Dwight.

Back then, with Harden available to play the facilitator role, and pre-injury Eric Maynor a very capable point guard, combining pre-injury Dwight with KD made so much sense.....that I actually made the transaction on 2k after the rumor

Yeah, that might take the cake. You kill two birds with one stone, you get a legit big man in Howard, along side Ibaka given you the best defensive front-court in the league by a mile and you get rid of Perk.

OKC should offer up Westbrook for Al Jefferson and Kemba Walker. Throw in fillers, picks, Adams, or Lamb... whatever.

A line up of:

Kemba
Jackson
Durant
Ibaka
Jefferson

is freaking terrifying.
