Default World Peace ejected for elbowing Harden

Lakers forward Metta World Peace has been ejected for elbowing Oklahoma City's James Harden in the head.
World Peace was ejected for a flagrant foul late in the second quarter Sunday.

World Peace had just dunked on a fast break and was celebrating his basket while running upcourt when he ran into Harden. While World Peace pounded his chest with his right arm, he threw his left elbow right over Harden's shoulder and into the back of his head.

did you see his post game interview... it was a stupid mistake, but
he wasn't really looking that way, it was just a bad reaction to James
coming into his space....

I hope he doesn't get more than a game or two suspension, more
would be only because he is a Laker (suspending Lakers makes bigger
headlines!! more games = even bigger headlines!!).

It wasn't a mistake it was retaliation for his nose getting bloodied in the first quarter by Ibaka. He knew exactly what he was doing and now the team will pay the price for his "mistake".

5 games at least what's the over under?

This is a blessing in disguise. Ebanks is our small forward of the future, and he is ready to step in and defend the athletic players at his position. He really did a great job against Durant if anyone didn't notice.

If he can do that well defensively against Durant, then everyone else will be relatively easy.

I was thinking the same thing. Could be away to get Ebank some playing time plus, Hill backing up Bynum. Sessions, just might have guys that are mobile by running the floor. Less standing around would be nice.

I too think this could be a blessing. I keep telling my friends "the only guy happy with this indefinite suspension is Ebanks". He now sees this as the opportunity to come in, fill big shoes, and show everyone we don't need Ron.

He's relishing the opportunity I am sure.
