NEW ORLEANS -- The U.S. Attorney's Office in the Eastern District of Louisiana was told Friday that New Orleans Saints general manager Mickey Loomis had an electronic device in his Superdome suite that had been secretly re-wired to enable him to eavesdrop on visiting coaching staffs for nearly three NFL seasons, "Outside the Lines" has learned.
Greg Bensel, Saints vice president of communications, said Monday afternoon on behalf of the Saints and Loomis: "This is 1,000 percent false. This is 1,000 percent inaccurate."
Started in 02 (Loomis's first year) and went through all of 03 and 04. Could potentially be a federal crime. Presumably all Loomis ever heard was opposing coaches laughing at the Saints QB being Aaron Brooks. The hits just keep on comin.

This doesn't even make sense. He is a money guy. He wouldn't know what he was listening to anyway. Still...can we get some ****ing positive saints news ffs.
Also why is this being revealed 10 years later in the middle of the bounty scandal. Pretty fishy if you ask me but what do I know, I'm just a saints fan.

It's not fishy, saints fd up so newspapers are seeing what else they did. Why would they be digging prior for saints dirt?
At least they had some audio on the bounty. They have nothing on this but of course the media will run with it. These are allegations plain and simple. Ridiculous ones.
