Listening to Jim Brown interview now, and wow I guess he really was not that high on Richardson. I am not much of a college football fan, but from the glimpses I've seen couldn't disagree more.

Exactly, you watch him run vs some of the toughest defenses in college football. He was a beast. Great all around RB. And can carry the load. Workhorse. Student. If Cleveland blows this I'll laugh.

They won't be blowing it if they grab Claiborne or Blackmon.

Now drafted by the Browns, I just hope this thing doesn't turn into a Steven Jackson situation where he doesn't get half the credit he deserves because he's on a shit team.

Gonna be tough to make the playoffs in the AFC North. It will be a super competitive division for years and CLE has the worst starting QB.

Yeah, for sure. But, I think he's still gonna be in a potential Steven Jackson situation where he's still going to put up decent numbers whilst every defense is aware he's gonna be getting the ball the majority of the time.

AFC North's gonna be insane this year.

For those that may not be aware, Jim Brown has been on the outs with the Browns' organization since Holmgren took over as president. I would say that anything negative he had to say about Richardson was mostly out of spite for the organization and less to do with Richardson as a player. Then again, I also think that his words were taken out of context and blown out of proportion.

He did, after all, compare him to a possible Emmit Smith. I think I would take that.

I don't doubt that there is some hostility there, but he made his comments about Richardson before he was associated with the Browns. I don't think he would make those comments unless he really meant them.
