I honestly don't think the Knicks or Pacers will be much of a problem at all. The Heat went 6-1 against them in the regular season, and if anything, the Heat are the ones with a proven playoff gear (look at the Boston/Chicago series last year). For all of Melo's supposed "clutchness", he's gotten out of the first round once in his entire career (Lebron's never lost in the first round).
I'm not confident at all in the Heat to win the title, they've got too many holes and just look inferior to the Bulls and Thunder, but they've got a fairly easy first two rounds. The Knicks and Pacers are just not that scary.
I'm pretty sure that in the last 20 games they all (Knicks, Pacers and Bulls) had better records than Miami (probably the whole league outside of SA). The Knicks and Pacers got themselves together later in the season and played different ball later in the year. The only other team to gather momentum in this strange year is SA. What do they all have in common? They all have a bench and used more players effectively than everybody else. Which is necessary for this type of year.
