I know Miami doesn't have any centers, but Shaq was way out of shape the last two seasons of his career to have a big impact, let alone dominate.
"Dominate" is a stretch but he could definitely hold his own up until that injury last season. He had that 'return to form' game vs. NJ where he scored 25 and had 11 boards. For his age and the miles put on his body, he was effective for Boston. 9.2 points and 4.8 boards per game was decent for limited minutes.
Guys like Anthony and Dampier wouldn't have been able to stop Shaq. He wouldn't have been the Shaq of old but, out of the centers on the floor, he'd be the best... even pushing 40.
I dont understand,i thought this thread is about chandler missing a game not heat or boston for that matter. If thats really true, its gonna be a big blow for knicks chances, because they have to start strong to have a chance at beating heat.Without chandler they literally no advantage over heat.
That sucks i hope he plays
Knicks fans bring it on themselves by being the dumbest mother ****ers on this board.
Some are pretty bad. Like you. You just can't hop off the Knicks nuts It's like generalising the Celtics fan base (who are usually decent) based on your trolling. GTFO.
As for Chandler, it's pretty upsetting. If we had any sort of hope to pull off game 1 it's pretty much diminished now.
I just read about it in nypost and other sites as well.Anything less than %100 chandler means sure loss for knicks.Knicks has absolutely nobody in paint. They will get murdered in paint especially on boards
Boston was getting outworked before Rondo's injury. You'd be hardpressed to find Celtics fans who won't acknowledge that, besides trolls and revisionist historians. Keep trying though.
Knicks WEREN'T being outworked before Amare and Billups went down.
